Third Quarter Members Meeting

Generously hosted by our neighbors at the Italian Cultural Center, 1101 Milford Street, 7:00pm.

Join us on Tuesday, June 11th for our third meeting of 2013. General business and members’ meeting to begin at 7:00pm.

Special guest speakers Steve Gomez of City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods will discuss the role of the department and be available to answer questions, and Laurette Cañizares of the Houston Museum District will provide updates and information about the area.

The Department of Neighborhoods (DON) is an entity dedicated to improving quality of life in our neighborhoods through expanded outreach, stronger community partnerships and improved government responsiveness.

This constituent-based service concept creates a “one-stop shop” for accessing City services and resolving neighborhood issues.
