Bell Park Work Days Update

Bell Park Volunteer Days begin this Saturday!

It’s time to get out your garden gloves and head to the Bell Park to help MAMA beautify our neighborhood gem. Please mark your calendar for one or both of the volunteer days below. We would love your help in this great project to improve the landscape at the Park.

September 28:  Bed Prep Day, 9 AM
We have a small group, but we could always use more! The main thing that we would like to accomplish, is to establish a clean border between the gravel pathways and the areas to be planted. We will also be cleaning the walkways, doing general clean up and trash removal.

Please bring your completed volunteer release form.

Other things to bring:
Water and snacks
Garden gloves
Flat edged shovels
Rakes

There is no set time for how long we work – we will accomplish as much as our energy and schedules will allow but likely to wrap up around 11 or 11:30.
Please label your tools with some tape so that they don’t get jumbled with others.

October 19:  Planting Day
We will put in the new plants and beds that will help make Bell Park more beautiful. We need 10-20 volunteers to do the planting, also armed with gloves and tools, arriving at 8:30AM.
This day we complete the project – and then we celebrate!

We need a head count to make sure we have enough people to get the job done.
